You can adjust your follow privacy from the Settings screen. Click into the side drawer menu from the home screen, then on Settings, then again on the Follow Privacy menu item. Toggle ON for a private account, or toggle OFF for an open account. You can still follow btwb users that have private accounts, but they’ll have to accept your request to follow first.
Follow requests will be sent as notifications. Click to accept or reject.
